Preamble

We are a family of three; Andrew, Jodie and Jessica (aged 18) from Tasmania, Australia who are currently serving in Douala, Cameroon, Central Africa on the M/V Africa Mercy, the largest non-governmental hospital ship in the world, through Mercy Ships International. God has called us on a journey that has been many years in the making. For this season we call Africa home, as we seek to bring hope and healing to the poorest of the poor.

Dressed to Impress!

Each month The Mercy Academy has a "Spirit Day"
where the students dress up in a the dress of a
particular nation. Of course, as we were only
days away from West Africa, this was the
month's dress. Here is Jess in an outift I found in
the Boutique (ship's op-shop). Isn't she cute? We
will get one made for her soon enough.

Andrew is looking very sharp in his dress whites. The
epaulette for Engineering is a propellor. He is out on
deck 8. Below is the Engineering group photo.

  1. Andrew, you look very impressive in your uniform, and Jess looks just the part in her outfit!
